Description

This is an easy paved trail. It is best to start at Kings Park, as there is more parking, but most people run from west to east. The Ferny Creek Trail starts in the north east corner of Kings Park, at the 90 degree bend in Forest Oak Drive. Following the trail from here west is best as it is mostly downhill in this direction. The trail ends at Stud Road in Knoxfield. There is two road underpasses that is slightly steeper, there is a lot of vinery and eucalypts along the river the path snakes along, watch out for the koala bridge crossing one of the roads.

There is lots of bushland views to the south of the trail.

Flora & Fauna

Abundant bird life and a rare view of wallabies.
