“This trail leads up a small mountain to a Buddhist shrine.”
— Missouri Hiker
Start at Pokhara Lakeside and hire a boat to take you across Phewa Lake. You'll wind up next to a place called "Usual Restaurant" at the trailhead.
The trail winds up through a number of switchbacks along a forested dirt/gravel road. Halfway up, there is a spot to rest and purchase drinks. Occasionally, you may see some local monkeys jumping through the trees. Finish the hike at the top of the hill at the Buddhist Peace Pagoda monument. Continue over the top of the hill where there are many restaurants and road access back to Pokhara.
