Description

Start at Anderson Lake. Head south on Deep Creek Trail #709, which will come out at the Reber Cow Camp. Continue directly across the parking area of Reber Cow Camp.

Crossing the Road from Reber Cow Camp parking area, pick up Trail #709 that cuts through a chest high forest of skunk cabbage. The trail travel east for about 0.3 miles where the trail will start dropping down from the south edge of the Grand Mesa. Steep and very rocky for this first part of the downhill, then the trail will smooth out as you enter the aspens.

This trail ends at the intersection of Coal Creek Trail #702. This is a remote, little-used trail on the Grand Mesa.
