Description

Starting from the Trail Link, this route is pretty sandy and follows along near a wash, crossing it a few times before finally heading down it for 40 yards and crossing to the west side and up a hill. From that point on, the trail is quite nice and provides a different look at Catalina State Park for those that frequent its other trails.

The route appears to not be used too frequently but was brushed back well, so there were no issues with overgrowth. There are numerous other trails heading off this route, including one that heads back to the Sutherland Trail, so keep an eye on your route. Towards where the trail meets up with the Nature Loop Trail, just keep heading straight at a four-way junction. If you turn left (SE) you can hike over to the Canyon Loop Trail instead.
