This trail is close to the parking area and features a 3/4-mile section of singletrack that parallels Philpott Lake.
Jamison Mill Park is managed by Franklin County Parks and Recreation and is open from sunrise to sunset year round. Camping is available April-October. The trail is multi-use so please be courteous to other users.
Description
Golden Shore Loop is a great way to end your hike at Jamison Mill Park. The fast singletrack trail drops in elevation quickly from the Ridge Access Trail where you'll encounter one extremely tight and steep switchback. Watch your footing on the rocks at the bottom. From here, you can connect back with the Golden Shore Loop - Southeast spur taking you along the lakeside and returning you to the parking area.
