Features Views

Family Friendly This trail is surrounded by neighborhoods and is easy to get to. You'll find many other families on the trail.

Description

The first half of the trail has a very steady climb that will take you around the mountain. Around the halfway point there is a steeper incline that is the most difficult part of the trail. It will take you most of the way up from where the trail plateaus. There are two more small inclines before the final climb up to the peak. From the peak there is a nice view to the south where you can see all the way to Westgate and Downtown Phoenix.

Flora & Fauna

There are coyotes in the neighborhood, so on a rare occasion you might run into one on the trail. Keep an eye out and you'll see some of the other small critters.
