Description

From the junction with the Bennett Gap Trail, this trail makes a steady descent down the steep, winding grades of the loop's western drainage. After a little while, the trail picks up Coontree Creek again and follows it south through beautiful forest to reach the junction with the Coontree Loop Trail. If you're returning to the car, head right here.
