Starting a the end of Poplar Run Drive, head southeast across the stormwater containment berms, following white-striped poles. Following signposts for Poplar Run Trail, descend hill to boardwalk that crosses the Northwest Branch floodplain in what appears to be a wetland remediation area. At the end of the boardwalk, cross Northwest Branch on a footbridge to join the Rachel Carson Greenway/Northwest Branch Trail.
