Leaving the main square in front of the church of San Sebastián, follow the trail to the left, following along the beach. At the beginning of the street, you'll pass the headquarters of PEIG (Ilha Grande State Park), where you can see a mockup of the Island and get more information about the work done by the park.

The trail continues along the beach until you reach a bridge, where there is a park surveillance booth. Just after the bridge, the trail branches to the left as the road continues along the coast. The trail climbs slightly and gives access to the Mirante da Praia Preta and the Poção that is next to the Aqueduct, where the T02 (Aqueduto - Saco do Céu) trail begins.

We went after a rainy day and saw snakes along the way.
