Need to Know
Adventure Pass required to park in day use area near the trailhead.
The Soldier Creek Trail starts near the restrooms next to the amphitheater (a short hike east on paved road from the visitor center) and gently drops down through a forest of mature oaks, incense cedars, and bigcone spruce to meet with the Cedar Canyon Trail #9W24
. It then crosses the seasonal stream and connects with the Crystal Lake Road.
This makes a family friendly loop hike with the Cedar Canyon Trail #9W24
