Description

To access the Frenchman's Reef Trail, you can park at a small parking area on Ocean Blvd or Bernal Ave in Moss Beach, California. The trail leaves the parking lot and the Pacific Ocean spreads out before you on the right side of the trail. At roughly 0.1 miles, the trail turns to the left while a shortcut that people use goes straight ahead. After taking the left, the trail breaks off to the right and snakes its way along the bluff. The trail is made of dirt and sand as it makes its way along the bluff. The trail is relatively flat, making it an easy hike for people of all ages and experiences. After 0.4 miles, the trail intersects with the Jean Lauer Trail. You can turn back around and work your way back to your car, or turn to the left and follow the Jean Lauer Trail to circle back to your car.

The trail is open to bikers and horses, so be aware of what is going on around you.
