Description

The Lost Twin Lakes Pathway winds through century old white pines that were missed by loggers late in the 19th Century. You'll go through a variety of terrain including woodlands, ridges and swamps. Some areas can be a little wet, but boardwalks cover most of them. The trail is not heavily used so it may not be well worn in. In addition to this trail, there are many doubletrack roads and an ATV trail in the area that you can explore.

The trailhead is located 6.5 miles south of Houghton Lake on Reserve Road (County Road 401).
