This is a singletrack, hardpacked trail connecting Dusty Lake to the Potholes Areas. An actual singletrack trail (compared with the old roads faded to singletrack main trails in this area), this trail climbs gently up form Dusty Lake and gently descends through the potholes area. You'll see large rock chunks that have fallen from the ridge to the south, some of which mark other trail intersections. No trail names or intersections are labeled, but every trail in this area loops you back to the main Gorge Amphitheater Trail.
