Description

This venerable old trail has been around for decades and has long-since fallen out of favour. Together with Tom Snow (South) it spans the gap between Highway 66 (Elbow Falls) at Station Flats PRA and Highway 68 (Sibbald Flats) at Dawson PRA.

The trail is a mixture of doubletrack / old road and wide singletrack. It follows the valley bottoms, through grassy meadows, criss-crossing Moose Creek and then Bragg Creek numerous times, so it's always wet and boggy (unless it's frozen!). And then there's the cattle and their contributions to the mud!

However, since being designated as part of the Trans-Canada Trail it has started to benefit from some maintenance and improvements. So things are looking up a bit.
