This trail includes a couple of steps. It's mostly easy to navigate, but it does see a lot of foot traffic, so you're unlikely to be the only one headed either up or down. But there is a castle tower on top of the hill, which makes for a wonderful destination.

The castle is open on rare occasions, but there is a restaurant on the hill and a decent view of Como with its lake from the top of the hill.
