Description

This is a short, easy trail that leads to Welch Spring and an old 1913 hospital, which was located along the Current River. The spring flows out of a nearby cave and was thought to have healing properties, which were desirable for the health spa. After the founder's death in the 1940's, the hospital fell in disrepair.
