Description

Start with a slight right off of the dirt road (it is unmarked, but easy to find past a near 180-degree right hand turn followed by a shorter steeper section of the dirt road). You'll get a bit of a break from that road climb along this trail as it has an easier grade than most of the Number 2 Canyon trails. You'll also get some sneak-peak views of the valley and of Wenatchee as you follow along some folds in the hills. Some turns will take you into the sage-brush environment that Wenatchee is known for, and other turns will start to turn into more of a forest environment, which makes for a beautiful and fun trail. This makes a great loop with a climb up Twin Peaks Road/Number 2 Canyon Road and a hike down Stairway to Heaven.
