Description
This is a dirt path that winds through a tallgrass prairie. It crosses NW 150th Street twice and can also be accessed from the visitor center or the North Trailhead parking lot. There are free-roaming bison and beautiful wildflowers to see here. On the west side of the loop, the short Backpack Camp Spur leads to the backcountry campsite, and on the south end of the loop, hikers can connect to the Gayfeather Trail.
