A short scramble down from the rim to the top of the waterfall.

Features River/Creek · Views · Waterfall

This is not recommended for small children or if you're afraid of heights.

Description

To get to the waterfall, hikers will need to start by climbing down a chain ladder that was put in back in the 1970s (if that doesn't appeal to you, continue along the Box Canyon Springs Service Road to still get some views and access a swimming area). Beneath the ladder, the singletrack picks its way steeply down to the water below. After briefly paralleling the flowing water, the trail ends beside a section of falls.
