Description

This trail starts off easy as a gravel road off Llano Loop, ending on a cliff perched high above Fresno Canyon.

The road eventually turns into a singletrack and gets quite a bit more challenging. Watch for numerous cacti near and on the trail. There is also a very steep descent and climb in the last half mile.

Make sure to continue all the way to the end. The views of Fresno Canyon from there are just amazing!

Trail actually starts at about mile 1.5 of this path. Road has a few rough spots but is doable in 2WD. Real trailhead has a bathroom.

Trail is well maintained/well marked. Recommend the loop around Cerro Chilicote for variation on the return leg. 5.1mi
