Description

This is the pavement road leading to the Serra da Piedade sanctuary. It is more well used by religious pilgrims, but it is often used for hiking and bikes as well. You can also use sections of the road to connect the Estrada Brumafer to the Trilha Serra da Piedade and Crista da Serra da Piedade for a nice loop or longer hike. The views from Serra da Piedada are well worth the climb to get to the summit.
