This short route leads you to a great vista point from where you can see Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe.

Take the obvious trail from the parking lot. Keep left after 150 feet and right after another 100 feet. The trail is mostly steps carved into the rock. At the next sign turn right to get to the vista point. This is a great place to spend some time. Trace your steps back to the last junction and turn right. The trail descends again. At the next junction turn left and continue back to the parking lot.
