Description

This paved path starts after crossing West Main Street. After a short distance, the trail splits off at the entrance to the Rock Springs Conservation Area; going straight will lead to Rock Springs, while taking the left option leads to Kiwanis Park. Before crossing the Sangamon River, the trail passes by the Sanitation District of Decatur and eventually passes by Rock Springs Pond. The trail ends at the Rock Springs Nature Center.

Flora & Fauna

Toads and turtles can be found along the trail.
