There is no water at the trailhead.

Description

Starting on the south end, park at the Red Canyon Trailhead. From here, the singletrack trailhead north following along the ridge between Losee Canyon and Red CAnyong. The trail winds through the stunning scenery of the red rocks and old-growth Ponderosa pines before ending at the Casto Canyon Trail on the north end.

Along the way, there are many great viewpoints including Brayton Point, Little Desert, Black Rock, Mexican Hat, and Lon's Knoll. Pack a lunch or a snack to enjoy at one of these many great overlooks.

The trail is well-marked, and keep an eye open for directions signs at the trail junctions.
