“Lots of road walking. The view is probably best at the beginning and end of the trail.”
— David Smith
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Lake — River/Creek — Views — Wildlife — Commonly Backpacked
This trail extends 50 miles from Mount Monadnock to the Sunapee Mountains. This trail can be section hiked or done as a small backpacking trip. Despite the white blazes on the trees, it is far from being similar to the AT. Be prepared to walk a trail that is primarily composed of dirt roads.
