There is a large free parking lot near the starting point. Most of the trail is in the woods, and it is mostly easy. Light trail shoes are okay. There are some small climbs but none are long or very steep. The trail is quiet and some of it is scenic. You do not hear traffic or city noises. The trail is marked by green signs, on rocks or trees. However, there are couple of turns that are poorly marked, so it is recommended to download the course to a watch or use the Hiking Project mobile app, at least as a backup.
