Plan on stopping at the lighthouse for a tour and a view of the bay. The trail can be very slick due to the moisture, so I would recommend a hiking stick to anyone prone to hurt knees or ankles.
This trail can be combined with an out and back on the Hobbit Trail for a pleasant oceanside experience.
