Race - Jun 23, 2018
This is the only non-obstacle trail race in the park. The event is super fun, and people travel from all over for this race. It is an easy enough trail for road runners, but still fun for trail nerds.
The trail features lots of roots and rocks, but with gentle ascents/descents and a few small hills. The race is mostly singletrack, but most of the trail is wide enough for easy passing. The course is always well-marked. The volunteers spraypaint the roots and rocks that stick up the most, and trail spurs that you're not supposed to go on are roped off for race day.
