Description

Ring Dike is one of the more challenging trails at Hartman Rocks. Unlike rattlesnake, Ring Dike could be done in both directions. It will throw quite a bit of challenging trail at you in this 1.4 miles, so stay on your toes.

Start the trail by hiking out on 3525g near the end of Josho's or the start of Rattlesnake. In the first challenge hits you quick with a steep downhill on slickrock. Wind your way up and down on the many challenging downhill and uphill sections. Some of these sections are loose with apparent moto damage. Some sections present tricky rock maneuvers similar to the Moab desert.

Keep an eye out for the many cairns along the way or bring the MTB Project Hiking Project mobile app, as route finding can be difficult when crossing some of the slickrock sections. There are a few exit points along the way of the trail that exit west out to Road 3525 but eventually ends near 3530a, take a left here to get back to Road 3525.
