Description

Josho's Trail is one of those trails at Hartman Rocks that shouldn't be missed. Start by making your way out to the south end of Hartman's, the preferred way is climbing the gradual ascent on broken shovel. At the end of broken shovel you'll see a signed singletrack for Josho's Trail across the road. The first half mile or so is a gradual climb to the top of a hill, once here you have almost a full mile of steady swooping downhill.

For a brief moment the scenery changes with some taller trees and aspens down in the lower parts of the trail, the downhill is almost done here. Inevitably, what goes down must go back up. Fortunately the climb is fairly short, but stiff coming back up to powerline road.
