Need to Know

I believe the trail is closed March 15- May 15 for sage grouse

Description

Follow the road after passing Hartmans till you come to a cattle guard, right across it there is an easy parking area on the left.

The trail starts on singletrack in a lush forest of sagebrush and other desert beauties. All around you on this whole trail there are pretty classic Hartman rock formations to be admired.
Full sun, no shade.

Good trail for running, hiking, biking. There is no crazy elevation gain, the trail is pretty mild. It does have a few solid rock sections mixed in with all the loose rock of the typical trail.

The end of the trail leads into several other trails south of Powerline Rd. if you want to continue onto something else before heading back down Bambi's.

This is a nice chill trail and a good way to explore some of Hartmans without getting into anything too crazy.
