Description

This section was established by repurposing stretches of the Ridge Runner Trail and surrounding trails in the Devil's Backbone Wilderness area and by adding 12 more miles to the east from around Blue Springs to Pomona.

The 27-mile stretch from the Pomona trailhead that continues through the Devils Backbone Wilderness has recently been rehabbed with new signage and is in great shape.

Trail also used for horses. No signage through wilderness area, but is easy to follow with map. Overgrown in summer. 28.4mi
