The access trail for Trail Gulch Lake is a well-maintained and popular horse and hiker trail in the Northeast Trinity Alps. Sections of the trail are singletrack dirt and gravel as well as a former dirt road. The lake has camping, and is deep enough for swimming. This trail is often combined with Long Gulch Lake in a large loop.

NOTE: Trail Gulch Lake and Long Gulch Lake are switched on most maps.
