Description

Locally known as the Jeremy Glick Trail after one of the heroes of September 11th, the trail gradually descends from the northern ridges of Abram S. Hewitt State Forest. It's a wide singletrack without views and fanfare, but still a very nice hike in the woods. It is a little wet all-year round and very wet in the rainy seasons. It is also a welcome respite after completing other challenging trails in the park.

Flora & Fauna

Northern NJ hardwood and a lot of ferns dominate this area.

Easy. A few mushy parts but good for the kids.
