“The northern portion of the hiker/bike/horse trail system.
”
This trail is maintained for horse and bike travel, but offers a longer route for hikers as well. Be aware that you may encounter large mammals or fast-moving bicycles! This lollipop-style path makes up the northern portion of the horse/bike trail, and has access to the Forest Management Trail around the halfway mark. A few shortcuts exist, and the trail crosses the parking lot near the Red Bird statue, so it can be lengthened/shortened easily.
It's worth noting that both cyclists and those on horseback are directed to travel in one direction, and it's recommended that those on foot travel in the opposite direction.
