Description

The Arroyo Burro Trail is the forgotten stepchild of Santa Ynez area trails. It's not as long or scenic as Tequepis. It doesn't have the fun or reputation of Camuesa. It isn't as epic as Santa Cruz. And it can't be shuttled as easily as Snyder. What arroyo burro lacks in notoriety it makes up for with beauty and solitude. Hike Arroyo Burro Trail for yourself and find out what you have been missing!

A mix of fun winding singletrack interspersed with more difficult rocky sections will make you smile. With the lighter traffic and attention be prepared for a bit of brush. About 2.1 miles from the start, you'll come to the one must make turn. Take a right following the clear 'Designated Route' signs.
