Description

China Creek begins with a climb from the intersection with Taylor Creek Trail. The grade is moderate at first up the creek drainage, eventually becoming steep as it gains the ridge.

The descent into Galice Creek has steeper grades and a series of switchbacks. The final part of the route is another climb to Forest Road 2402/S Fork Galice Creek Road.

Throughout the route, hikers will encounter a number of mining operations, both past and present.
