Description

This trail can be done both directions and is often used in the Big Hollow Heartbreak Hotlap. From the top, the trail descends on Hone Quarry Ridge (435) for a nice warmup. Eventually you'll switchback to the left and drop onto the North face of the ridge where the trail becomes significantly more difficult. Steep, tight sections keep you occupied between the difficulty rock maneuvers for the duration of this trail. There is a cool down section as the trail heads back towards the intersection of Big Hollow.

First trail in my loop experience of Heartbreak, Hone Quarry Ridge, and Big Hollow Trails. No human footprints in the snow, so it was a bit tough. 1.2mi
