Description

Bent Rim Trail is an extension of the popular Rim Trail. However, whereas Rim Trail is moderately rocky, Bent Rim Trail adds the rocks in spades, hence the variation on the name.

Bent Rim Trail starts where Rim Trail ends on Eckert Forest Road. The rocks start almost immediately and don't let up until the trail spits you out a mile later on Salamanca Forest Road.

As of 9/2017, right about mid-way on the trail is an angry yellow jacket hive. It is tough to avoid getting stung if you're the second one through!
