Description

This is a 4x4 road. Not really hiking material, but useful if you need to connect trails. The route starts from Gemini Bridges Road in Little Canyon, climbing gradually up a vast expanse of sandstone. Continue straight at the intersection with Gold Bar and Little Canyon.

The grade is mellow for a bit longer until the junction with Rusty Nail. From here, things get more strenuous as the climb steepens.

This section tops out and starts a short downhill as the Gold Bar joins from the left. This part of the route is very steep and challenging all the way to the rim.

Enjoy the view and then continue on either Gold Bar Rim or Golden Spike Jeep Road.
