Description

The trail starts behind Venados Group Camp on the right. You pass a cattle gate and then gently hike up the hill. The trail curves alongside the shore to provide pleasant views of Lake Del Valle. At 0.4 miles, stay close to the fence and turn left before you join the East Shore Trail.
