Rosebud Trail is rockier and sometimes steeper when compared with Deadman Gulch, but can make the Reno/Flag/Bear/Deadman's Gulch hike longer by adding a loop with Rosebud by either descending or climbing.

The trail follows Rosebud Creek along it's whole route as it descends down through a wide open gulch. The views of Cement Mountain are stunning. The trail ends at the junction and start of the Deadman Gulch trail.
