This is a mountain bike park that is also open to foot traffic. Bikes will move fast through here. Be sure to follow any direction signs that are applicable to foot traffic. Stay alert when on the trails and be aware of oncoming traffic (headphones not recommended).

Description

As with all the trails at Rocky Knob, the further up the mountain you go, the more rugged the trails get; rocks become longer and more pronounced in both climbing and descending sections. In general there is more loose rock everywhere.

Boat Rock climbs 250 feet in the first 1.3 miles. There is a bailout at this point that reduces this loop to 2.5 miles total. There are several wooden bridges on this trail that cross boulderfields and wet areas. The rest of the rocky areas don't have bridges. Follow this trail to the top to reach the 'Ol Hoss Trail, which skirts the summit of the mountain.
