“A singletrack trail in Manning Provincial Park leading through larch meadows to the summit of Frosty Mountain.”— Tony Redford
Features Birding · Commonly Backpacked · Fall Colors · Lake · Swimming · Views · Wildflowers · Wildlife
There is a short talus field for 30-45 minutes before the summit. In the middle of this, there is a branch of trail that goes towards Windy Joe Mountain (Frosty Mountain Loop Trail), and this can be used to turn the trail into a loop.
The summit cairn and elevation marker are the end of the maintained trail and where nearly all people end their outing. The true summit is actually a 45-60 minute return trip, with exposed areas and scrambling.
