This is a multi-use trail open to motos.

Description

Start off the Tabeguache Trail - Dry Creek Section at the south end of the trail. There is an "Ewok Village" carsonite sign here with a singletrack gate. The trail descends to Piney Creek, then climbs on a steep and loose trail.

Easy, open downhills interspersed with short rocky sections make this one of the more interesting trails around, that is if you can stop admiring the stark beauty of Dry Creek Canyon. The trail keeps relatively high on the upper bench of the canyon. There are two or three moderately rugged sections. Near the end, the trail slowly climbs through the eponymous "Ewok Village", badlands with dark boulders. Hike around the backside of a few hills and enjoy a fun descent to the intersection with Piney Creek Trail.
