This is the best way to climb up and into the Bauxite Trail system. There are several other trailheads but parking in the lot next to the cemetery and using Forest Lane is a good warm up and offers a screaming downhill to finish.

Forest Lane is a moderate climb with easy switchbacks and a couple of gravely areas. The trail is well shaded so it's tolerable in full summer sun. While it might be tempting to return to your car down Forest Lane, the best way is to descend Mindbender.
