This is an incredibly busy multi-use trail - please use caution and courtesy when using the trails.

Description

This trail is probably best done as an out-and-back from Hwy 75 near Galena Lodge. The scenery on this trail is excellent. Titus Lake is a nice spot to rest to have lunch, and much of the singletrack is quite fun.

Park by Galena Lodge, the trail starts on the west side of Hwy 75 on a doubletrack but quickly turns to singletrack. The trail starts out climbing but up some very gentle grades for the first couple of miles. Around 2.5 miles the trail steepens slightly and you'll start to head up some switchbacks. Depending on the time of year the trail can be dusty and loose. Around 3.5 miles up the trail gets steeper for a few tenths of a mile as it crawls up several more tight switchbacks. Soon after, however, you'll reach Titus Lake, a great place to stop for a rest or lunch. Many people chose to turn around here. If continuing on the trail is mostly level from this point on, even descending slightly as it connects to Hwy 75.
