Description

The trail from Black Bear Lake down to the Horse Meadow Trail is no longer signed or maintained, so the Twin Lakes Trail is the only regular trail going up to Twin Lakes or onto Black Bear and Bigelow lakes. Just before Twin Lakes, you cross the boundary into Yosemite National Park, so National Park regulations apply.
