Adventure Pass needed to park at Blue Jay Campground.

Description

To contrast the eroded Old San Juan Trail, this trail is a refreshing change with beautiful sections through oak forest and chaparral. The surface is intact and keeps a manageable grade throughout.

The best way to access this trail is from Blue Jay Campground and heading southwest. Use the Hiking Project mobile app to navigate the intersections as the signage can be confusing or non-existent. The trail ends at the Cocktail Rock intersection with the Old San Juan Trail.
