Flood's Road was bisected by Sand Creek just north of Jabs Farm. Crossing the creek here was often tricky (or impossible) depending on how high water was in the creek. In July 2026, the FWS filled in this gap and now crossing Sand Creek is easy. But Spring floods can still close the entire road.

Description

Please note current trail closures. The original route heads south through Louisville Swamp, passing the Johnson Slough Trail, then travels downhill through a savanna. After a sharp right, there is a water pump and shelter on the trail before it ends at the State Trail.
